Why I Love Dan O’s Seasoning
I discovered Dan O’s about a month ago. Their seasonings are packed with all-natural ingredients and just the right amount of sea salt. No GMOs. No junk. Just clean, honest flavor. Plus, they’re based nearby in Louisville, Kentucky, which makes it even better.
For this recipe, I used Dan O’s all-purpose seasoning, but if you don’t have it, no worries. You can mix up your own blend with simple salt and pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, or whatever seasonings you love.

What You’ll Need
Here’s what you need to make this easy roasted broccoli recipe:
- 4 fresh broccoli crowns (not frozen)
- 2–5 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter (your choice)
- Dan O’s all-purpose seasoning (or your favorite blend)
That’s it. Just a few simple ingredients.

Let’s Get Cooking
First things first—preheat your oven to 400°F.
Now, rinse your broccoli crowns under cool water and shake them dry. Trim off the large stems and cut the crowns into smaller, bite-sized pieces.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the broccoli pieces out evenly. Drizzle the olive oil (or melted butter) over the top. I like to use tongs to toss the broccoli around so each piece gets coated nicely.
Next, sprinkle your Dan O’s seasoning evenly across the top. I don’t measure—just give it a good coating. Start with a light layer, then add more later if you want a stronger flavor.

Roast to Perfection
Once your broccoli is seasoned, slide that pan into the oven. Roast for 15 minutes. Then pull it out and give the broccoli a quick toss to move it around.
Pop it back in for another 15 minutes until the edges start to brown and get a little crisp. You’re house will start smelling like broccoli. Not the greatest smell. lol

Time to Serve or Store
Take it out and let it cool for a few minutes. You can serve it right away with your main dish—it’s amazing with steak, chicken, or fish.
If you’re meal prepping, store the broccoli in a glass container or individual prep containers. It reheats pretty decently.

A Bite-Sized Win
These little roasted broccoli pieces are so good. They’re perfectly bite-sized, slightly crisp, and full of flavor. It’s one of those side dishes that you’ll make again and again.
So go grab some fresh broccoli and your favorite Dan O’s all-purpose seasoning. You’ll have a simple, healthy, and seriously tasty dish on the table in no time.
