With just a little elbow grease and three ingredients you will have this whipped cream whipped up in a matter of minutes. It is a crowd pleaser and a fun treat to have.

My niece helped make this and we think that we have gotten it to just the right sweetness. As often as you can, I would encourage you to bring your littles into the kitchen with you and enjoy making something together. This is a great recipe to make with your kiddos because it is quick, easy, and ready to eat right out of the bowl. They can see it magically getting to the right consistency before their very eyes. You will make such great memories baking and cooking with family members.

What can I eat with it?

You can eat everything or nothing with it! You can eat this right off of the spoon, the beater, or the whisk. Add it to a smoothie, mix it in with your yogurt, and dip fresh berries in it. You can put it on top of angel food cake, white cake, chocolate cake, any cake!

Why you will love this recipe!

I really think you will love this recipe because you will see that you can create something simple and delicious in just a few minutes. You only need three ingredients to make this recipe and a few minutes.

Can I make homemade whipped cream ahead of time?

I would only make this hours ahead of time. It starts to get weepy as it sits in the fridge. Weepy means that it won’t be as fluffy and stiff. It gets a little runny. It still tastes amazing, but it loses its structure and stiff peaks. I did a little experimenting and found that you can re-whip it and it will peak back up.

Can you double the recipe?

You can for sure double this recipe if you need to. This recipe makes plenty, but if you need more, you can easily double it by just doubling the ingredients. I would say you could even cut it in half and get great results. You may not have leftovers, but a little goes a long way.

Around the five minute mark, you will see the consistency start to thicken and change.

Keep mixing until stiff peaks form. You can test for stiff peaks by bringing the turned off beater up and out of the whipped cream. If the whipped cream makes a stiff point that stands up, you are good. You can also check for this by taking the turned off beater and gently pushing it into the top of the whipped cream and quickly lifting it right back out. The whipped cream should look like a tiny mountain peak.

Serve soon.

Storage

You can store any leftovers in the refrigerator for a couple of days. It is best served within a few hours of making it if you want the best texture and consistency. You can re-whip the whipped cream to make it stiff again.
