The Best Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup: Crock Pot Recipe

This is soo good. It is a rich and comforting creamy chicken noodle soup made effortlessly in the crock-pot, perfect for cozy family meals.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup salted butter
  • 1 small bag shredded carrots (cut) or 2 cups chopped carrots
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 6 cups chicken broth or stock
  • 1 tsp. chicken bouillon base
  • 2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp. sea salt
  • 3 large chicken breast (you can get by with 2)
  • 2 ½ cups wide egg noodles
  • 1/4 cup milk (or water)
  • 2 10.5 (oz) cream of chicken soup

Equipment

  • crock-pot
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons:
  • meat cutting scissors (or something to shred the chicken with)

Method
 

  1. Chop the carrots, onion, and celery.

  2. Add 1/2 cup of butter and all the vegetables to the crockpot.
  3. Add in the flour, chicken base, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add in the chicken breast.

  5. Pour 6 cups of chicken broth and 1/2 cup of milk over everything in the crockpot.
  6. Stir it a bit and make sure the chicken is under the liquid.
  7. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.

  8. About 20-30 minutes before serving, add in the 2 1/2 cups egg noodles and the 2 (10.5) oz cans of cream of chicken soup. Stir it around.
