Course: Side Dish

Ingredients

  • 1 sourdough bread bowl
  • 8 oz. package of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 (2.5 oz. pkgs) dried, chipped beef, diced (add to taste, I recommend 1 - 1.5 of the beef or else it gets really salty)

Method

  1. Dice the dried, chipped beef and set it to the side. You do NOT need to use all of it.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  3. Remove the center of the sourdough bread bowl.
  4. Cut the center of the bread bowl into cubes for dipping.
  5. Mix the cream cheese and mozzarella cheese together.
  6. Gently stir in the chipped beef.
  7. Spoon the mixture into the center of the bread bowl.
  8. Bake on a baking sheet for 45 minutes.
  9. Serve warm with bread cubes.
