Gluten-Free Buckwheat Brownies

These gluten-free buckwheat brownies are delicious and simple to make. They are made with cocoa, buckwheat flour, and maple syrup.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Arrowhead Mills Buckwheat Flour (gluten free)
  • cup cocoa powder
  • 1⅓ cup sugar (1 cup sugar + ⅓ cup maple syrup)
  • ¼ tsp. baking powder
  • ¾ cup melted butter
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (mini semi sweet)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°.
  2. Grease an 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 inch pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mix together all of the ingredients.
  4. Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
