Super Simple Venison Spaghetti

The Super Simple Venison Spaghetti Recipe is one of my favorite quick meals to make for my family. I cook it all the time. It’s easy, filling, and full of flavor. Let's get to cooking.

Course: Main Course

Ingredients

  • 1 box spaghetti noodles (pick your favorite)
  • 1-2 jars spaghetti sauce (your choice)
  • 1-1½ lbs. ground venison
  • 1-2 tbsp. olive oil (for a little extra good fat)
  • 2-3 tbsp. butter (optional to put on cooked noodles)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground venison, and cook until browned. Break it up as it cooks.
  2. While that is browning, bring a large pot of water to boil over high heat. I fill up the large pot between ½-¾ of the way full.
  3. Once the water is boiling, pour in the box of noodles, turn down the heat to medium-high, and boil them for 10-12 minutes. You can follow the directions on the box of pasta.
  4. Once the pasta is done, drain, and add in the butter and salt and pepper.
  5. Once the venison is browned, pour in the spaghetti sauce. Do NOT drain the meat. Add salt and pepper to taste. That just means, add a bit of each, taste it, and then add more if you want more flavor.
  6. Serve with garlic bread and veggie and you are set. Enjoy!
