Ingredients
  

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup butter (partially melted)
  • cups white granulated sugar
  • 3 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 egg

Equipment

  • large mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and baking powder.

  3. In a separate small bowl, partially melt the butter.

  4. In a medium mixing bowl, use a mixer to mix together butter, sugar, vanilla and egg.

  5. Gradually add in the dry ingredients. Mix well.

  6. Roll the dough into balls and then into sugar.

  7. Bake for 7 minutes, but no longer.
