Chocolate Chip Pie (with pecans)

This chocolate chip pie with pecans is rich, gooey, and taste like a chocolate chip cookie, but in a pie tin. You will love this one if you love chocolate and need a fix.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 stick butter, melted (8 tablespoons)
  • 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips (about 1 cup or ½ a bag)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)
  • 1 (9 in.) unbaked pie crust

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°.
  2. In a large bowl, bean the eggs until foamy.
  3. Add in the flour and brown sugar. Beat until creamy.
  4. Add in the granulated sugar and butter and beat until creamy.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
  6. Spread this mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
  7. Bake for 1 hour. (check it at 50 minutes to make sure it isn't getting too done)
