My Prayer For You As You Strive To See The Good In Others
Lord God,
I thank you for your steadfast love. We know that we cannot do this on our own, in our own flesh. Help us to love others in a practical way and to share God’s kindness with everyone.
Help us to use our God-given gifts to share Christ’s love with those in need.
We ask for the fruit of the Spirit to fill us so that the light of Jesus will be seen through us.
Help us to be aware of the physical needs and the interests of others. Help us to be there in their time of need.
Thank you for the gift of eternal life! We love you and we know that every good gift is from above.
Help us to do the right thing.
In Your Name We Pray,
Amen

Final Thoughts
Seeing the good in others is more than just a mindset. It’s a way of living that reflects God’s heart.
When we choose to look for the good in those around us, we begin to embody the kindness, forgiveness, and compassion that Jesus showed during His time on earth.
It’s not always easy, especially in moments of frustration or misunderstanding. Scripture reminds us that God sees each of us as valuable and worthy of love.
Take a moment to meditate (think) on the Bible verses shared throughout this post. Pray for God to open your heart and eyes so you can see others the way He does.
As you go about your week, challenge yourself to intentionally look for the good in someone in each of the areas we’ve covered—whether at school, work, or during your daily routine.
Practical Challenge:
At school: Encourage someone who seems down or lonely.
At work: Compliment a coworker’s effort or skills.
Out and about: Smile at a stranger or hold the door open for someone.
In your day-to-day: Thank a family member for something they do regularly that might go unnoticed.
In a challenge: Choose forgiveness over holding a grudge.
Remember, seeing the good in others isn’t just about them—it transforms you, too. As you practice this perspective, you’ll begin to experience more joy, gratitude, and peace in your own heart. Let the light of Christ shine through you as you make a deliberate choice to see the best in those around you.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14)
